Nancy Alter

The Cheltenham Printmakers Guild (CPG) was founded in 1969 by a group of Delaware Valley artists. Their purpose was to facilitate the exchange of ideas and techniques of printmakers who had been working in isolation, and to provide mutual support.

The guild is affiliated with the Cheltenham Center for the Arts in Cheltenham PA, a suburb of Philadelphia.

Guild artists previously exhibited at Pennswood in 2008. Their current exhibition is called  “Altered States.” The title refers to the variety of printmaking represented by these twenty four artists and also, obliquely, to the experiences of the pandemic as seen through their sensitivities.
