The Pennswood Village Board of Directors, with the support of the Pennswood Village Residents Association and Hospice Care by Pennswood Village, established the Pennswood Village Foundation in November, 2017, to serve as the philanthropic arm of the senior living community, located in Newtown, Bucks County.

During the meeting, the Foundation nominated the following Officers:

  • President, Nancy Morrill, Pennswood Village Resident;
  • Vice-President, George McLaughlin, Pennswood Village Board of Directors;
  • Secretary, Bob Anderson, Community Member;
  • Treasurer, Delia Bass Dandridge, Pennswood Village Board of Directors;
  • Executive Director of the Pennswood Village Foundation, Susan Abtouche.

“We are excited that the Foundation is now a reality,” said Nancy Morrill, “Pennswood Village residents, families, and friends have a long history of generosity and philanthropy in support of our community and its members. The development of the Pennswood Foundation will enable us to integrate our fundraising efforts and better support our philanthropic mission of supporting residents who outlive their assets, provide quality resident activities, scholarship opportunities for our staff, capital improvements, program development, and other support for Pennswood Village.”
