Fiscal Soundness, Value & Affordability
Since our founding as a not-for-profit organization in 1980, the overriding concern has always been, and always will be, our residents, thanks to a caring, knowledgeable team of managers and board members.
Pennswood Village has met stringent, national accreditation standards since 1987. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CARF-CCAC) requires a commitment to continuous quality improvement and a focus on the unique needs of every resident. Looking for true value and affordability? Call 215-504-1118 today for a personal appointment. This distinction is shared by fewer than 300 of the nearly 2,000 continuing care retirement communities in the United States! By mandate, we must continuously improve and monitor the results. It’s a big task we take very seriously.
Pennswood Village undergoes an independent annual audit by a national accounting firm as well as an independent annual actuarial study to ensure that we are fiscally responsible and sound.
The financial security of Life Care, added to the amenities, services and conveniences provided by the community, results in a very affordable alternative to remaining at home. And many additional services are available for a reasonable fee, including group travel and private drivers. Needs-based entrance fee assistance is also available to those who qualify.
